[Game Changers] Gen.G GC switch head coach to Xpp — SeoeuN steps down to coach the academy as the roster is reshaped ahead of GC Pacific

SeoeuN's record — the architect of back-to-back GC Korea titles

SeoeuN moved into coaching after playing professionally (SPEAR GAMING Female, DRX Changers) and became a Gen.G GC coach in April 2026. She also drew attention as a pioneering female coach within the Pacific Game Changers ecosystem.

Under her, Gen.G GC were dominant, winningGC Korea Split 1(beating Meikai Dolls in the final) andGC Korea Split 2(beating Ninetails 2-0 in the final) for a domestic double, and playing a large part in securing the team's international qualification.

After stepping down she returns to Gen.G Global Academy (GGA) to continue teaching the women's VALORANT class.

Xpp takes over — promoted from the academy

The new head coach, Xpp, played professionally for THE START W (2020-2021) and World Game Star (2021). After retiring he moved into coaching, most recently leading the 2026 WDG Challengers Korea season ashead coach of the Gen.G academy.

It is a step up within the organisation, meaning the GC team passes to someone who knows Gen.G's development philosophy and team culture inside out.

What comes next — GC Pacific is the test

Gen.G GC's next big stage is the LAN event atGame Changers Pacific, held in Indonesia from 14 to 20 September 2026. The question is whether a domestic double translates onto the international stage.
