[VCT Americas Stage 2] 100 Thieves drop Sunset to Sentinels but win 2-1. G2 Esports and KRÜ Esports both win 2-0

EWC champions 100 Thieves drop their pick but win comfortably.

Against Sentinels, 100 Thieves chose Sunset — the map they went unbeaten on at EWC — but it seems not to suit them in Americas: after G2, they dropped a map to Sentinels here too. They took the following Ascent and Breeze 13-8 and 13-5 for a 2-1 map count. Cloud9 are up next.

G2 Esports, a solid win.

Against KRÜ Esports they took Breeze 13-8 and Lotus 13-10 for a 2-0. On Breeze they showed their class with a run of seven rounds, and on Lotus they won the bonus round and strung five together to make their point. Next up are Sentinels, whose roster change had raised doubts — can G2 close it out?
