FULL SENSE IGL Crws announces his retirement — four months after moving from the coaching seat back to IGL, with his successor decided back at Stage 1

He announced his retirement in the press scrum right after elimination

On August 22, FULL SENSE lost 0-2 to ONSIDE GAMING in the second round of the lower bracket of the Pacific Stage 2 Play-Ins, ending their Stage 2. Sunset was 6-13 and Haven 10-13. Crws revealed his retirement in the press scrum after the match. VLR.gg reports this as his second retirement.

On the reason for the loss, Crws took the responsibility on himself.

"I'm the one who chose to play this way with this team. Nobody is to blame but the five of us. Me especially. Because I'm the IGL."

On the retirement itself, he left a message for Riot. "Thank you for six years, Riot. I can't put into words how much my life has changed." According to his THESPIKE.GG player page, Crws is 30 years old with $69,957 in career earnings.

It was four months since he moved from the coaching seat back to IGL

What stands out in Crws' recent history is that his role changed twice in the past year. After leaving TALON in November 2025, he became FULL SENSE's coach in December. Then in April 2026 he returned to the IGL seat as a player. That means his run as IGL ended after four months.

In Stage 1, immediately after his return as a player, FULL SENSE finished runner-up. They lost 0-3 to Paper Rex in the grand final on May 17, but the result sent them to Masters London. It was FULL SENSE's first season since joining the league, and their previous international appearance went all the way back to Champions in 2021.

Stage 2 began with a 1-4 group stage

From a runner-up finish at Stage 1, Stage 2 was a steep drop. They went 1-4 in the group stage, losing four straight after their opener against Nongshim RedForce. In the Play-Ins they went 2-2. Both wins went the full three maps, and both losses were 0-2.

Crws' individual numbers in his final match were a 0.88 rating with 12 kills and 14 deaths on Haven. Against QT DIG∞ on August 14 he put up 18 kills and 6 deaths with a 1.48 rating on Summit.

His successor seph1roth had been decided back at Stage 1

seph1roth (Chinnakrit Phoojaroen) takes over as IGL. According to Crws, FULL SENSE had been planning to sign seph1roth back at Stage 1. With his own retirement approaching, he described seph1roth as "the future of this team." In other words, this change is not a snap decision made in response to the elimination.

Crws himself touched on the possibility of staying with the team as a coach. FrosT returned as FULL SENSE's head coach in 2026, so the coaching seat is filled. What role Crws would stay in has not been announced at this point.

Five international appearances in his career, with a best finish of 5th-8th in 2021

VLR.gg lists five international appearances for Crws. His best finish was 5th-8th at Champions Berlin in 2021, and in 2022 he was also named one of APAC's top 20 players. Among the players who were at the top level from the start of VCT, he is one of the longest to remain.

With FULL SENSE eliminated in Stage 2, their next official match will come in the 2027 season. No schedule has been released for when the first match under seph1roth will be.
